Job Description:
A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced surveyor to manage the maintenance, compliance, and minor project work needed across this company's Midlands portfolio.
Working remotely (based from home), you'll utilize your skills as a project manager, building surveyor, facilities manager, or similar to visit various sites and assess the condition of the properties as needed.
Building relationships with each of the site teams is crucial, ensuring you're on top of both planned maintenance and reactive issues that can't be handled on-site. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance across the estate, so experience with compliance and facilities management is important. Additionally, you'll organize project work through JCT contracts, including writing specifications, tendering to contractors, and overseeing work quality.
You don't need to be chartered, but experience working autonomously across multiple sites is highly beneficial. Project delivery experience of up to £300k is necessary, along with some background in facilities, compliance, and maintenance.
