Overview
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will act as the person in charge when required, stand in for the Manager, and ensure high standards of care for residents. You will perform nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will advise families and GPs of changes in resident conditions and supervise the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift.
Responsibilities
* Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
* Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition and keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
* Effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
* Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

Qualifications
* Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
* Display good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
* Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

* ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
