A highly regarded specialist education setting in Beaminster is looking for a caring and dedicated Childcare Assistant to join their supportive team. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and young people aged 2–18 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including learning difficulties, communication needs, and complex additional needs.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils aged 2–18 with a range of SEN and additional needs
* Assist with personal care and daily routines where required
* Provide 1:1 and small group support in and outside the classroom
* Encourage pupils’ communication, independence and social skills
* Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to support learning and wellbeing

* Minimum 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
