The Role:
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Specialist Occupational Health Adviser to join our team at Hampshire County Council.
What you'll do:
Working across our partners you will have the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience and develop new skills.Our Specialist Occupational Health Advisor role is predominantly case management based, but will also work as part of a duty rota and will carry out all of the responsibilities listed in the Candidate Pack below.
What we're looking for:
Its essential that you are a Registered General Nurse with a post registration qualification in Occupational Health up to degree/diploma level that is recorded on the NMC register or have demonstratable significant experience in occupational health.
Experience in the public sector would be helpful but is not essential.
You will have strong organisational, teamworking and communication skills and will have up to date knowledge of best practice in all areas of Occupational Health, as well as familiarity with Health and Safety legislation.
You will have the ability to write policies and operating procedures, be able to influence and persuade and be committed to strong customer care.
You will be comfortable engaging with managers and staff at all levels.
