Due to business growth, they are seeking a Claims and Litigation Administrator to join their in-house team and oversee property-related claims and legal matters.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of legal processes related to property, insurance, and liability.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of insurance claims and litigation across residential and commercial estates, including property damage, tenant disputes, personal injury claims, and liability cases. The role involves liaising with legal advisors, insurers, property managers, and contractors to ensure efficient handling of claims in compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage property-related claims from notification to resolution
* Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and liaise with stakeholders
* Support or lead responses to legal claims, coordinating with solicitors, insurers, and courts
* Maintain records of active cases, ensuring deadlines are met
* Identify risk trends and suggest improvements to mitigate future risks
* Advise property management teams on liability, insurance, and litigation risks
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and insurance obligations
About You
Our client seeks a candidate who can bring clarity to complex cases and collaborate across departments.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience managing claims and litigation within property, legal, or insurance sectors
* Knowledge of property law, liability claims, insurance policies, and dispute resolution
* Excellent organizational and case management skills
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities
* A proactive approach to risk management
* Familiarity with residential and commercial property operations
* Understanding of leasehold property law and ability to interpret lease clauses
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and case management systems
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
