We’re partnering with a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Redcar seeking a motivated MFL Teacher to join their languages department. The school has clear behaviour systems, a supportive team culture, and a real commitment to making languages engaging and accessible for all learners.
The role includes:
1. Teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available
2. Delivering engaging lessons that develop pupils’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
3. Supporting learners of mixed abilities and promoting positive attitudes to language learning
4. Collaborating closely with the MFL department and wider staff team
5. Maintaining calm, structured, and positive classroom routines
The school is looking for someone who:
6. Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)
7. Has experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary setting
8. Is confident teaching French, Spanish, or both
9. Brings enthusiasm, organisation, and a supportive teaching style
10. Enjoys contributing to the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
