Drama Teacher required to work on a full-time position from January 2026 Independent day and boarding school for girls aged 7–18 in Shropshire Drama Teacher to join a thriving Performing Arts department with excellent facilities Our client is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a high-achieving independent girls’ school. The successful candidate will deliver Drama across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level, and contribute to the wider Performing Arts programme. Applications are encouraged from both experienced teachers and ECTs with a passion for inspiring confidence and creativity in young people. School Information This independent day and boarding school caters for girls aged 7–18 and is set within a stunning rural campus in Shropshire. The school is celebrated for its nurturing environment, academic ambition, and vibrant co-curricular life. The Performing Arts are central to school life, with specialist Drama studios, a purpose-built theatre space, and links to national festivals and competitions. Students are encouraged to take part in regular productions, house drama contests, and external performance opportunities. Academic standards are consistently strong, with results in both GCSE and A-Level placing the school above national averages. Leavers secure excellent destinations, including Russell Group universities and performing arts conservatoires. The school has a strong record of developing students’ confidence, creativity, and leadership through drama and performance.
