Are you an Architectural Technician or similar with experience in Facade or Cladding projects? Do you use AutoCAD and Revit? Looking for a step‑up into a senior position within a rapidly expanding specialist, giving you full autonomy to deliver lucrative projects and the opportunity to mentor junior members?
On offer is the opportunity to join a longstanding family business that specialises in major construction projects. The company has recently secured major contracts, ensuring a robust workflow and growth over the next five years. They focus on their people, foster a great working environment, and enable you to manage design projects from conception to completion.
This varied and autonomous role will see you oversee projects from early engagement through construction, supported by a capable team. You will be responsible for drawing, creating, and modelling innovative designs within client budgets, using AutoCAD and Revit. You will produce technical documents, check the quality of work submitted, and report to senior management and clients on timescales and costings. The position is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
The role is ideal for an Architectural Technician or similar professional with experience in Facade or Cladding projects, seeking a senior position, mentorship of junior designers, and involvement in high‑value projects that will grow the business over the next five years.
The Role
* Manage design projects from cradle to grave.
* Use AutoCAD and Revit to create, draw, and model innovative designs.
* Mentor junior designers.
* Report to senior management and clients on timescales and costings.
* Create technical documents, design validation, and risk analysis.
* Monday to Friday – 9 AM to 5 PM.
Qualifications
* Architectural Technician or similar.
* Any exposure to Cladding, Facades, or Roofing projects.
* Background in AutoCAD and Revit.
* Commute to Bristol.
