Trafford Carers Centre is seeking an inspiring individual to join the team as a Business Administration Apprentice. The post holder will need to exercise initiative, good judgment, and react effectively to unplanned and irregular events. Salary: £16,830 per annum, rising to £22,222 following successful completion of the apprentice programme.
Training course: Business Administrator (Level 3)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 4.30pm. Occasionally, you may be asked to work outside office hours; time off in lieu will be provided.
Duration: 1 year 10 months
Work
The majority of your apprenticeship will be spent working, gaining hands-on experience on the job.
What you'll do at work
* Supporting operational delivery of the Carer Support Fund
* Organising stationary deliveries and other ad hoc office supplies
* Updating internal noticeboards
* Desk setups for new starters and onboarding tasks
* Coordinating events, booking meeting rooms, and arranging catering
* Ensuring colleagues have necessary tools for their roles
* Supporting departments with ad-hoc duties
* Handling telephone and email communications
* Greeting visitors and managing sign-in procedures
* Creating reports and documents accurately
* Managing stationery supplies
* Maintaining the information database
* Performing general office duties (filing, photocopying, preparing documents)
* Other ad-hoc support tasks

* Undertake other reasonable tasks as required

Additional Notes
