Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Microsoft Fabric Architect, you’ll help clients design, build and optimise modern data and analytics platforms. You’ll combine technical leadership with hands-on expertise, working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to create scalable, secure and business-focused solutions.
•Design Microsoft Fabric architectures aligned to business goals
•Build scalable solutions using OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory and Power BI
•Define best practices for governance, security, deployment and performance
•Lead workshops, technical discovery sessions and architecture reviews
•Mentor engineering and analytics teams on Fabric delivery approaches
•Support bids, proposals and client engagements as a Fabric specialist
•Develop reusable patterns and standards to improve delivery quality
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You’ll bring strong experience delivering modern data platforms and a deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric and related Microsoft technologies. You should be comfortable engaging with both senior stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
•Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms
•Strong expertise across Microsoft Fabric services and architecture
•Hands-on experience with SQL, Python and/or Power BI
•Knowledge of Lakehouse, Warehouse and modern data engineering patterns
•Experience with governance, security, monitoring and cost optimisation
•Strong stakeholder management, consulting and communication skills
•Ability to mentor teams and provide technical leadership
