Rehoming & Welfare Coordinator (Dog Assessing & Welfare), Old Windsor
At Battersea, our Dog Operations team is responsible for delivering high standards of animal welfare and care for every dog in their journey through Battersea, from intake, to care and assessments, and then to rehoming.
We are seeking individuals to lead a care group within the dog assessing & welfare team at our Old Windsor centre, ensuring the best outcomes for dogs in our care while maintaining high standards of husbandry and hygiene.
The ideal candidate has experience working with dogs in a rescue environment, implementing behavioral programs, and making decisions regarding behavioral assessments with minimal supervision.
There are three vacancies, and applicants should specify their preferred role in the application:
* 40 hours/week, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota (9-month fixed-term)
* 32 hours/week, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota (permanent)
* 24 hours/week, working every Tue, Wed, Fri (1-year fixed-term)
