Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility)
£12.21 per hour plus benefits
Reports to: Shop manager
Department: Trading
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 6 – Sundays only
Location: Petersfield Chapel St

We’re looking for a motivated retail assistant to join Cancer Research UK’s trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and take responsibility for the shop on a Sunday.
You’ll also be surrounded by people dedicated to beating cancer as you are.
What will I be doing?
1. Overseeing the running of the shop on a Sunday, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting a diverse team of volunteers.
2. Assisting the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
3. Reviewing and processing donated goods and new stock.
4. Generating creative ideas to help generate income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
5. Using customer service skills to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
6. Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
7. Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
