Package Description:
Winchester House School is looking to recruit a full-time 1 year fixed contract Learning Support Assistant. You will primarily work with one KS1 child, providing learning development support to the individual pupil. You will work alongside the class teachers to create and implement individual learning plans to support physical, emotional and academic progress. There will be opportunities for whole class support during the day, working alongside the individual child in small groups of children and assisting the class teacher.
Ideally you will have current or recent experience of working within the primary/prep school setting, experience of working with children with SEND is essential and it would be beneficial to hold a Special Educational Needs qualification or equivalent in this area of specialism.

Winchester House School was founded in 1875 and moved to its present 18-acre site in the centre of Brackley in 1922. The heart of the School is situated in Manor House, an attractive building dating from the early 1800s. Winchester House comprises a fully co-educational nursery, pre-prep and preparatory school, offering an outstanding education to children aged 3-13 with day, occasional and weekly boarding available. In January 2021, Winchester House School became part of The Stowe Group.
