What you’ll do on a typical day:
Provide high‑quality HR advice and comprehensive generalist People support
* Manage the full ER caseload, ensuring efficient guidance aligned with legislation and company policies
* Build strong, credible relationships across the organisation, influencing managers to adopt best‑practice approaches
* Support managers in interpreting and applying company policies, procedures, and local agreements
* Contribute to delivering the annual People plan, including MI analysis and coaching to support management development
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Demonstrable experience providing pragmatic, tailored HR advice, including strong ER expertise and solid knowledge of UK employment law (CIPD Level 3 or above beneficial)
* Skilled in supporting managers through a range of employee relations issues with confidence and professionalism
* Strong IT proficiency across Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to compile and interpret People‑related data
* Proactive, collaborative and objective, with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to solve problems and work effectively with others
