Are you a positive and patient educator with a passion for helping young people grow in confidence and ability? Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated Tutor to support a young learner in Bordon who is preparing to transition into Year 7.
The learner has some Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is looking for a Tutor who can provide a positive, confidence-boosting learning experience for 15 hours per week. Further tuitions in the local area can provide full-time work.
As a Tutor, you will:
* Deliver engaging and individualised tuition in English and Maths
* Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the learner
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the learner’s specific needs and pace
* Encourage confidence, independence, and a love of learning
About you:
* Experience working with learners with SEN or those needing additional academic support
* Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
* A nurturing, encouraging, and flexible teaching style
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Experience of working within UK schools for one year or more

Full time/part-time – Opportunities for both
Hours – 15 Hours per week; for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time.
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools – ESSENTIAL
* Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
* Hold the right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Possess up-to-date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
