Childcare Assistant - St Andrew's CE VA Primary Fontmell Magna
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Childcare Assistant to join our friendly breakfast club team. This role is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 8:30 am, supporting children in a safe, fun, and engaging environment where they can learn, play, and thrive. It is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a school, to be part of a supportive school community, and to help provide a safe, welcoming environment for our children outside of normal school hours.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the wrap‑around provision after school.
* Helping to set up and deliver fun, engaging activities for children.
* Ensuring children are safe, happy, and well‑cared for.
* Working closely with other staff to maintain a positive, nurturing environment.
Qualifications
* Enjoys working with children and helping them thrive.
* Is friendly, reliable, and committed.
* Can work well as part of a team.
* Brings energy, patience, and a sense of fun to the role.
* No experience necessary – full training will be given.
