Job Summary
East Dunbartonshire Council’s Development & Investment Service has a vacancy for the post of Project Manager – Major Asset Projects. The successful candidate will join the Capital Projects team to deliver a portfolio of capital investment projects across Affordable Housing, Education, Community and Leisure portfolios across East Dunbartonshire.

The Capital Projects team provide client-side project management services on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council by working closely with internal stakeholders and leading multi-disciplinary consultancy teams to develop, design and build new assets. Since its formation in 2014, the team have led the delivery of over £180m of capital projects in support of East Dunbartonshire’s Local Outcome Improvement Plan.

The Council seeks to appoint a Project Manager to join the Capital Projects Team, who lead multi-disciplinary project teams through the full project lifecycle, from inception and feasibility to design and construction.

This exciting opportunity requires a candidate who can demonstrate experience of successfully undertaking a similar role previously, is highly organised and has excellent communications skills.
