Welding Respiratory Sales Specialist (m/f/x)
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Welding Respiratory Sales Specialist for 3M Personal Safety Division covering the North East of England, Cumbria and Scotland, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Promote the 3M Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) portfolio, with a specific focus on the 3M Speedglas range, to channel partners and end users.
2. Maintain and grow directly managed, priority accounts within a defined geographical region and customer segment.
3. Support the wider business in identifying opportunities for products beyond the PPE portfolio.
4. Deliver customer training on the correct care, use, and maintenance of 3M PPE.
5. Collaborate with colleagues in the Personal Safety Division and Application Engineers to identify, develop, and execute sales projects and opportunities.
6. Engage with key stakeholders at end-user customers to drive specification and adoption of 3M products.
7. Develop and maintain strong market, industry, and product knowledge.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
8. Proven ability to proactively develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
9. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
10. Competence in delivering product demonstrations and presentations
11. Strong negotiation skills
12. Sales experience in a B2B environment
13. Experience using CRM systems to identify opportunities and manage a robust sales pipeline
14. Good standard of education
Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
15. Knowledge and experience within the PPE and wider health and safety market
16. Strong organisational and time management skills
Job specifics:
17. Field based covering - North East of England, Cumbria and Scotland
18. Preferred candidate location - Ideally within the Central Belt of Scotland (other locations will also be considered within the defined territory)
19. Travel expectations - Significant travel across the defined territory
20. Working pattern - full time
