Overview of the role: The Credit Controller supports the day‑to‑day management of revenue‑related processes, focusing on billing accuracy, cash collection, and maintaining clean, reliable revenue data. The role plays an important part in ensuring customers are billed correctly, payments are received on time, and revenue information is up to date and well‑controlled. Working closely with Finance, Sales Operations and Customer Success, you’ll help keep revenue operations running smoothly and support timely and accurate reporting. About you: You’re organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working with numbers and systems. You enjoy structured work, follow processes carefully, and take pride in accuracy. You’re confident chasing information, following up on overdue items, and resolving queries in a calm and professional way. You’re keen to learn, open to feedback, and happy working as part of a collaborative finance team in a fast‑paced environment. Your day to day: Revenue Accountant Support billing and invoicing processes, ensuring invoices are raised accurately and in line with contract terms, pricing, and delivery timelines. Manage day‑to‑day credit control activities, including monitoring aged debt, chasing overdue invoices, and responding to customer payment queries. Keep debtor balances up to date, escalating issues where payments are delayed or disputed. Assist with revenue reconciliations, deferred revenue tracking, and data checks to support accurate reporting. Maintain accurate revenue and customer data across finance and billing systems. Support month‑end processes, including preparing schedules, reports, and basic variance analysis. Assist with third‑party commission and revenue‑share calculations by gathering data, checking figures, and supporting processing. Work closely with Sales, Customer Success and Finance colleagues to resolve billing and payment issues efficiently. Follow established financial controls and procedures, supporting audit requests when required. Contribute to process improvements by identifying data issues, inefficiencies, or opportunities to simplify and standardise ways of working. Do you have what it takes? Experience in a credit control, billing, finance administration, or accounts receivable role. Good numerical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Confident using Excel and finance systems. Comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams about payments and invoicing. Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Willingness to learn and follow established processes. Desirable Experience in a SaaS, technology, or subscription‑based business. Exposure to invoicing systems, ERP platforms, or billing tools. Basic understanding of revenue recognition concepts or ARR models (training can be provided). Why Napier?
