Overview
The Governing Body of Ffynnon Tâf Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and committed professional to lead the work of the school office as part of our dedicated school team. All learners are encouraged to ‘Believe and Achieve Together’ in a caring and inclusive ethos in the community of Taff’s Well. The school currently has 135 pupils on roll with 5 classes.
Key Responsibilities
* Budget management and financial controls.
* HR processes and pupil administration.
* General school office management processes.
* Handle cash for banking, petty cash and administer school accounts.
* Use a range of reprographic equipment.
* Prioritise and work to deadlines.
* Provide excellent organisational and administrative support.
* Ensure confidentiality and data protection.
* Maintain a supportive and professional manner when dealing with families.
* Collaborate closely with the Headteacher to ensure smooth and efficient running of the school day for the benefit of pupils, families, and staff.
Key Requirements
* Excellent IT skills, including experience of Bromcom, SIMS, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Ability to use ICT for word processing, spreadsheets, and data management.
* Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and people skills.
* Proficiency in handling cash and administering school accounts.
* Ability to use a range of reprographic equipment.
* Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
* Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
* Supportive and professional manner when dealing with families.
* Enthusiasm for working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
