Are you practical, hands‑on, and eager to learn specialist production skills? We are looking for a Trainee Potting Technician to join our small Production team in Salisbury. Description & Responsibilities
* Supporting daily Potting & Encapsulation tasks in line with company quality and health & safety procedures
* Learning to operate and maintain specialist equipment, jigs, fixtures, and tools
* Assisting with the control and safe handling of COSHH materials
* Helping ensure production targets and on‑time delivery commitments are met
* Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and contributing to 5S initiatives
* Recording issues, rework, and improvement opportunities
* Working flexibly across production areas as required
* Developing your skills through ongoing training and mentoring
* Communicating effectively with team members to maintain a professional, consistent working environment
Experience / Skills / Attributes
You don’t need previous experience — just the right attitude and willingness to learn. We’re looking for someone who has:

* Clear communication skills (verbal and written)
* The ability to follow instructions, drawings, and manufacturing information
* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* A flexible, adaptable approach during times of change
* A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
* Experience or some understanding of IPC/620, ISO9001, AS9100 or QMS is beneficial but not required — full training will be provided.
