* £24,500 per annum. This salary is NOT subject to pro-rata and is the full amount before tax.
* 40 Hours per Week; Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm

Red Kite is a brand-new independent special educational needs school catering for up to 60 pupils with social and emotional health needs. The school is based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for those wanting to be part of a new setting and make a difference in pupils’ education.

The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Design and Technology, the main purpose of the role is to ensure high standards of teaching and learning to secure excellent progress for all pupils. Establishing good relationships with staff and pupils, providing leadership, and managing the department are essential.
You will contribute to the pastoral ethos of the school, ensuring excellence in all aspects of school life. Candidates should have GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, with some experience in SEN and school settings.
Qualifications and Attainments include:
* Recent CPD/In-service training
* Excellent subject knowledge
* Ability to lead teaching of Media, Computing/Esports, and ICT across 11-18 age range
* High standards in classroom teaching
* Line management experience
* Sound IT skills in teaching and learning
* Effective organizational skills
