Overview
Senior JD Edwards (JDE) Functional Consultant - Manufacturing and Distribution. Experienced JD Edwards functional consultant with leadership responsibilities, mentoring others, and a focus on service excellence for global customers.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of JDE modules including Manufacturing (Shop Floor Control, Work Orders, Product Costing) and Distribution (Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement).
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, conduct gap analyses, and recommend process improvements.
* Support full solution delivery — testing, training, and deployment.
* Manage and mentor a team of JDE support consultants and analysts.
* Conduct quarterly performance reviews, allocate resources, and support professional growth.
* Ensure timely case resolution and accurate client invoicing through effective oversight.
* Foster a positive, collaborative, high-performance team culture.
* Oversee incident, problem, and change management through our ServiceNow-based system, Engage.
* Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and continuous service improvement.
* Act as an escalation point for complex functional issues.
* Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and regular service reviews.
* Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, Account Managers, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.
* Present functional designs, updates, and performance insights to senior leadership and clients.
Qualifications
* Required: Extensive hands-on experience with JD Edwards ERP (Manufacturing & Distribution focus).
* Background in a people management or team leadership role.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes.
* Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) and working knowledge of ITIL principles.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
* Organised, analytical, and process-oriented with a passion for service improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
* JDE certification in relevant modules.
* ITIL Foundation (or higher).
* Experience with ERP upgrades or migrations.
* Familiarity with integrations between JDE and other enterprise systems.
