The Opportunity
If you’re an Electrical Technician ready to step into something more exciting than routine maintenance, this is your chance to work in a truly unique and high-impact environment.
Working with Ford & Stanley on behalf of our client, you’ll join a specialist engineering team responsible for maintaining complex, safety-critical systems in a fast-moving, high-performance setting.
From advanced automation and PLC-driven systems to integrated electrical and mechanical equipment, you’ll gain hands-on experience with technologies rarely seen in traditional industries.
This is a role where your technical skill directly influences performance, safety, and the overall experience delivered every single day.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily pre-opening inspections, testing, and safety checks across electrical systems
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of equipment
Diagnose faults methodically, identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions
Respond quickly to breakdowns, maintaining performance under pressure while prioritising safety
Work closely with mechanical teams and operations to ensure seamless system performance
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support maintenance activities
Accurately complete maintenance records and compliance documentation
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety across systems
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a fast-paced or industrial environment (both planned and reactive)
Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
A proactive, hands-on approach with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
Level 3 qualification (or above) in an electrical discipline
Full UK driving licence
Experience with control systems, PLCs, or automation would be advantageous, though not essential
What Makes This Role Different
A highly varied role where no two days are the same
Exposure to advanced, specialist systems not found in typical industries
Opportunity to develop niche technical skills and broaden your expertise
A collaborative team culture with a strong focus on safety and improvement
The chance to see your work have an immediate, visible impact on operations
Why Apply?
This role is ideal for an Electrical Technician who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in maintaining complex systems to the highest standard. You’ll be joining a team where your technical skills are valued, your development is supported, and your work has a visible and immediate impact.
If you’re looking to move away from repetitive environments and into a role where your expertise contributes to something far more dynamic and engaging, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
