We’re hiring for a CNC Miller to join a forward-thinking engineering team in Ashton-under-Lyne, working on complex, high-spec components for a wide range of industries.
This is a hands-on role where your technical knowledge and attention to detail will directly contribute to the production of precision parts, using top-tier machinery and software in a clean, well-equipped workshop.
What’s on offer?
* £15.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
* Monday – Friday (38-hour week)

What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?
* Programming, setting, and operating 5-axis and 4th axis CNC milling machines
* Using Hurco WinMax controls and NCG CAM software to produce complex components
* Interpreting detailed technical drawings and working to tight tolerances
* Conducting quality checks using appropriate tools and inspection equipment
* Carrying out machine maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe work environment
What do you need?
* Proven experience in CNC milling, particularly with 5-axis/4th axis machinery
* Knowledge of Hurco controls and CAM software (NCG preferred)
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with confidence
