Job Title: Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer Location: Sheffield City Centre (with Hybrid Working) Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 (DOE) Contract: Full Time, Permanent Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating bills of costs for both paying and receiving parties. Preparing points of dispute and replies. Advising fee earners and clients on all aspects of costs law and procedure. Assisting with costs budgeting, costs management hearings, and detailed assessments. Handling negotiations and settlements efficiently and effectively. Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision. Staying up to date with costs law developments and contributing to internal training or knowledge sharing.
