Media Coordinator – Dogs Trust Worldwide
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Media Coordinator (20 hours per week) to help promote the work of our Rehoming Centres by developing newsworthy stories in all forms of media. In this role you will support the work of our rehoming centres and the wider organisation by providing relevant and interesting content for local media.
Location: Bridgend (onsite)
Employment type: Permanent – Part Time
Salary: £13,200 per year + benefits

Responsibilities
* Support media interviews.
* Provide required dog/background information, ensuring high quality photographs and videos are available for rehoming and publicity materials and overseeing their production.
* Promote the work of the Centres and rehoming appeals through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Qualifications
An excellent communicator with experience in media, PR or marketing, an eye for a story and the ability to generate ideas to support them. Strong photography and videography skills, and professional use of social media tools, particularly Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Commitment to Dogs Trust’s aims, with the ability to accurately convey our policies, key messages and brand identity.

Our rehoming centres house thousands of dogs each year until they find a loving new home. The success of our centres relies on a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who work in all weathers to provide the best possible life for the dogs.
What You Need To Know
A full UK driving licence is required, as the role includes regular travel to the Cardiff Rehoming Centre.
