Location: 10 Mallard Way, Pride Park.
Position: Care Assistant / Healthcare Assistant – Supporting children and adults with complex needs.
Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 - 16:00. Contract: Part‑time. Salary: £12.21-£16.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)
* Provide compassionate, person‑centred care in accordance with individual care plans.
* Support with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living tasks.
* Promote dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care records.
* Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
* Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies.
Role‑Specific Responsibilities
* Support a wheelchair user who is hoist‑dependent.
* Deliver personal care and assistance with daily routines.
* Encourage independence and engagement in creative interests (e.g., music, drama, art, technology).
* Assist with and promote the use of communication aids.
* Communicate effectively with family members and external professionals.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 6 months of care experience in the UK.
* Experience working with children or individuals with complex needs (desirable).
* A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach.
* Strong verbal and written English skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team.
* Basic IT skills for completing documentation.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
