They are continuing to expand due to strong demand and are looking for an experienced EIA professional who can lead multidisciplinary projects, manage client relationships, and help shape high‑profile schemes across the UK. The Role As a Senior EIA Consultant, you will oversee the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments from early feasibility through to submission and examination stages. You will coordinate technical specialists, provide strategic advice to clients, and ensure assessments are robust, compliant, and insight‑driven. This position offers an excellent platform for someone ready to step into a more senior delivery and leadership role within a supportive and ambitious consultancy. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage EIAs across a variety of development and infrastructure sectors. Produce and review Environmental Statements, Scoping Reports, Screening Requests, and related documentation. Provide high‑level environmental and planning advice to clients and project teams. Coordinate internal and external technical specialists across multiple disciplines. Engage with local authorities, statutory consultees, and project stakeholders. Contribute to bids, proposals, and wider business development efforts. Mentor and support junior environmental specialists.About You The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically strong, and confident managing multi‑disciplinary teams and complex workstreams. Essential Requirements Demonstrable experience delivering EIAs within consultancy or a similar environment. Strong understanding of UK planning and environmental legislation. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Planning, Geography, or related discipline.Desirable Chartered or working toward chartership (IEMA, RTPI, CIEEM or equivalent). Experience in energy, infrastructure, mixed‑use development, or large‑scale projects.
