We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a female client with a Learning Disability and Sensory needs, based in Colne. About the Role As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £14.75 per hour. This position is for 24 hours per week and includes a mixture of both day shifts and waking nights shifts. Current shift pattern is 8am - 8pm days, 8pm-8am waking nights. Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant Support our client with her personal care needs and toileting needs Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible Providing companionship and emotional support Helping with household tasks and meal preparation Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities Administering medication when required What We’re Looking For To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need: A caring and empathetic nature Good communication skills A genuine desire to support others Basic IT and record-keeping skills A full UK driving licence is advantageous Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided Additional Information Person-centred care is very important to us here at Your Life Your Way and you will have the opportunity to meet our client during the recruitment process.
