As Reception Manager,you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring an exceptional guest experience is delivered at all times.
Your role will include:
* Providing excellent customer service at all times
* Ensuring a smooth check in and out process is followed for guests at all times, adhering to our policies and procedures
* Being fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and able to assist with any queries
* Daily and weekly banking and Cash handling
* Ensuring that both the Front of House and Guest Relations teams are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments
* Managing staff rotas and dealing with any staff issues
* Managing the receptionists daily tasks and duties
* Maximising room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
* Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
* Assist in other areas of the hotel as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
* Previous experience in a hotel reception preferred
* Previous experience of managing and inspiring staff essential
* Flexibility and the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.
Experience in understanding, delivering and exceeding guest expectations
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs
* To be able to problem solve and turn any negatives to positives
* To co-ordinate all guest feedback
* Works consistently to high standards
* Ability to innovate solutions and prioritise workload
* Strives to continuously learn & develop self and team
* Completes and finishes projects and tasks on time and to brief
