We require an enthusiastic and caring individual that is keen to learn to support a 7-year-old boy with autism at home and in the community engaging in a range of activities.
The role will be to play and support the young man alongside mum
working towards 1:1 support
This will be a physical role as the young man is very active, loves to run and enjoys a range of sensory activities, having fun is essential.
You must be empathetic, have good time management and must read all the required documents from specialists regarding positive behaviour support.
Personal care will be required when all parties are comfortable.
The young man is very chatty, but has good understanding so good clear communication skills will be needed
We are looking for someone to up to 4 hours per week, term time with additional hour's, to provide cover during the school holidays
