To accommodate growth in the department we are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated lecturers to plan, teach and assess our committed and motivated students on Business courses to achieve outstanding results. You will be working within in a highly successful Business and Management Department with access to excellent classroom resources.
About the Business Department
The Business department attract highly committed and determined students who have a range of ambitions. We offer a range of qualifications from Level 1 to Level 6, including BTEC's, T Levels and Higher Education to support students to reach their career goals. We have a strong network of employers who work with the College to provide excellent work experience placements to prepare our students to become outstanding ambassadors in industry.
Our facilities
The college has recently invested in state of the art facilities that allow students to develop their skills in an environment that exceeds many industry settings, with high specification computer classrooms and collaborative spaces, with access to the most up to date digital equipment and resources. This has allowed teaching, learning and assessment to replicate the situations found in a range of business related roles across a variety of sector.
What will the role involve?
Main aspects are:
* Supporting students to achieve their fullest academic potential
* Developing and delivering their best ability in learning, teaching and assessment
* Presenting constructive feedback and suggesting strategies for students' improvement of performance and success
* Providing progression outcomes to management in order to continuously improve teaching and learning
* Monitoring and managing student attendance
* To assist in the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems for students
* To act as a Personal Tutor when necessary by providing advice and guidance
* Undertake course co-ordination as required
