Our client, a leader in accelerating a clean, secure, and affordable energy future, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their Interconnector Construction Directorate. Pay rate: £800 - £850 per day Umbrella
Duration: 6 months Temporary
Location: Sellindge, Ashford, Kent
Working Pattern: Onsite, Mon - Fri 37 hours per week

About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing Capex projects related to the Lifetime strategy of the IFA interconnector. Your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This dynamic position offers a variety of challenges where you can utilize your project management skills to drive success!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Refurbishment Projects: Oversee refurbishment and replacement projects at the IFA interconnector, ensuring reliability and availability for consumers.
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Progress Monitoring: Provide regular project status reports encompassing financial forecasting, SHESQ performance, milestone progress, and risk management data.
Investment Process Management: Lead and support the investment process through pre-construction, delivery, and closure phases while maintaining governance.
Safety Commitment: Uphold safety, health, environment, security, and quality obligations, fostering an environment where all team members feel empowered to share concerns.
Stakeholder Engagement: Drive customer and stakeholder satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Commissioning Strategy: Take charge of the commissioning strategy for IFA construction activities.What We are Looking For:
Proven experience in delivering construction projects.
Advanced project management skills with a strong grasp of CDM and safety regulations.
Knowledge of the Electricity Transmission System.
Experience in finance and cost control management on complex projects.
Proficiency in contracting strategies and procurement.
Strong data analysis skills for informed decision-making.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and team development abilities.Qualifications:
Essential: Project Management Qualification and Full UK Driving Licence.
