The Global Supply Planning Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of global master planners to create and execute a single, optimized end-to-end global supply plan while creating a high-performance culture of continuous improvement. This position will manage multiple customer and network priorities, leveraging IBP/SIOP and S&OE processes through the effective use of SAP and Kinaxis Maestro, and will work with manufacturing factories to mitigate any gaps between demand and supply. The position will report to the Director, Global Supply Chain Planning, [BU]. Responsibilities: For assigned business segment(s) of the [BU] portfolio, across relevant manufacturing sites, GDCs (Global Distribution Centres) and LDCs (Local Distribution Centres). Core Execution : Responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the single, global supply plan. A leader within Operations, partnering with Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Regional Planning teams and the Planning Centre of Expertise to effectively and predictably deliver products to the marketplace. Developing and executing the supply plan through Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP, management of S&OE and IBP/SIOP Supply Process steps, management of purchased finished goods. Lead scenario planning discussions and trade-off decisions with senior business leaders. Key metrics for success for this role include: - optimisation of inventory health - high level of service (OTIF/LIFR) - identification of short to long term S&OE & IBP/SIOP risks and opportunities - optimising the supply network and inventory - improvement in cost to serve (E&O, W&D and sourcing cost) Quality: Perform all activities in compliance with relevant Quality System standards and specifically with regulatory requirements. Monitoring/Maintenance: Oversee development of an accurate and effective Master Supply Plan, monitored through key performance metrics including schedule adherence, backorders, inventory health, and master data management. Monitor and resolve gaps between demand and supply. Team Building: Develop and manage the team to ensure capability to handle current and future business needs through continuous improvement initiatives, including systems and support elements. Manage, coach and develop an effective and motivated team, who achieve team, functional and business objectives. Manage and take responsibility for own development to increase personal contributions to the business. What you will need to be succesful? Education: Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field. Advanced degree a plus. Licenses/ Certifications: ASCM CPIM or CSCP or Kinaxis Maestro preferred. Experience: Minimum of two years in demand, supply and inventory planning required. Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain connections is a must. Previous experience managing and developing a team desired. Experience in medical device industry preferred. Beneficial to have SAP and/or Kinaxis Maestro, or similar education/experience. You.
