There is an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to step into a Band 7 Therapy team lead post for the Urgent Community Response and Hospital at Home Team, Northallerton. They will be responsible for operational leadership for the Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Therapy Assistant Practitioners. The team provides a 2-hour and 2-day response for patients requiring urgent support in their locality of Hambleton & Richmondshire.
Main duties of the job
Based at the Friarage Hospital Northallerton, the role includes excellent MDT working across all therapy services coupled with a beautiful location. The team, although small, is friendly and welcoming and warmly supports colleagues.
This post holder will work closely alongside the existing Therapy Team for the UCR and H@H team Hambleton and Richmondshire. The Therapy Lead will lead an effective and efficient service providing support to the patients in remaining in their own home/ usual place of residence and maintaining their independence. The service will maintain and support the independence of our ageing population.

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
* To hold a Diploma or Degree awarded by a professional body, e.g. OT/Physio
* Registered as fit to practice by a professional body, e.g. Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Evidence of Post Graduate clinical training/development
* To hold or be working towards MSc or relevant post-graduation qualification
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
* Demonstrates a highly specialist clinical knowledge and skills relevant to therapy provision in the community
* Evidence of advanced clinical reasoning skills
* Demonstrates an ability to motivate staff by providing a positive role model.
* Able to assume additional managerial responsibility and prioritise this accordingly.
* Able to respond and adapt appropriately to changing needs of the service.
* Demonstrates competent IT and system skills.
* Demonstrates evidence of teaching skills to a range of professionals
* Member of a specialist interest group
