The Position Job Title: Apprentice Service Administrator Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Duration: 13-15 months EPA Location: Chelmsford CM3 Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm Salary: £16,000 Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and organised Apprentice Service Administrator to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy service environment while working towards a recognised qualification. You will support the Service Department with day-to-day administrative tasks, helping ensure our service operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Service Manager and wider service team. Answer incoming service calls and emails, logging jobs accurately in the service system. Schedule engineer visits and track job progress to resolution. Maintain accurate service records and customer information. Order and manage stock of consumables and spare parts. Assist with preparation and distribution of service reports. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction after service visits. Support the wider team with any other administrative duties as required. What We’re Looking For Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. Good organisational and time management skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
