Role Overview
Registered Nurse managing and delivering care to a defined caseload. Delegated responsibility for the appraisal, management and clinical supervision of registered nurses, junior practitioners, and clinical support workers within the defined clinical service.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high standard of client and patient care within multidisciplinary teams.
* Apply the framework of the Nursing Process and use case management in appropriate settings.
* Appraise, manage and supervise the work of RN, junior practitioners and clinical support workers.
* Work under the leadership of the team leader/senior charge nurse or practitioner.
* Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, standards and best practice in the speciality.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
* Educated to or operating at Degree level.
* Post‑graduate expertise within the speciality demonstrating breadth of knowledge required to lead safety and service delivery.
* Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality.
* Leadership skills to enable day‑to‑day management of service delivery.
* Evidence of continuous professional development and post‑graduate qualification.
* Excellent team‑working, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective time‑management skills and basic information technology knowledge.
* Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence required.
* Experience of working in a community mental health service (desirable).

Location
Role based in Clydesdale Adult CMHT at Lanark Health Centre. Applicants shortlisted may be considered for similar vacancies in alternative locations.
