About the role
We're expanding and looking for an exceptional Chartered Financial Planner to join our growing team in Dundee. This is a full‑time position, offered on a hybrid basis with a blend of office and work‑from‑home arrangements.
As a Chartered Financial Planner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, IHT, and tax planning. This is an opportunity to build long‑term client relationships whilst being supported by an experience team of paraplanners and business managers.
What you’ll be doing
* Provide tailored, end‑to‑end financial advice to a diverse client base
* Build and nurture long‑term relationships through outstanding service
* Conduct in‑depth financial reviews and deliver strategic recommendations
* Collaborate with paraplanners and support teams to deliver best outcomes
* Grow your client base through referrals, networking, and proactive marketingStay ahead of market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes
What you’ll bring
* Level 6 Chartered‑level qualification (e.g., CII/Chartered Insurance Institute or CISI equivalent) or working towards chartered status
* Minimum of 5 years advisory experience
* Strong expertise in holistic Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning, with the ability to develop tailored, long‑term strategies for a diverse client base.
* Solid background in Finance, including understanding of investments, pensions, tax wrappers, and risk management in a regulated environment.
* Proven ability to build relationships with clients and professional introducers
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.
* Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and best practice.
* Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and standard office applications
