Hays is working with a manufacturing business on a temporary basis, seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administrator Assistant to join their busy and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a strong team player, and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency. While experience with procurement systems is beneficial, full training will be provided.
Your new role
As a Purchasing Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Processing project documentation and data entry tasks.
2. Entering and maintaining work orders and related records.
3. Updating Excel spreadsheets.
4. Managing and updating order confirmations.
5. Handling telephone inquiries and providing administrative support to the procurement team.
6. Performing general administrative duties including filing and document management.
7. Ensuring compliance with the company's ISO procedures at all times.
8. Maintaining and updating product categories, lead times, and pricing information.
9. Tracking and updating the status of work orders and maintaining accurate records.
What you'll need to succeed
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
* Available to start immediately.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
