ATA are supporting a multisite manufacturing group at their well-established site in the Nottinghamshire region. The group has a 35% foothold within their market and turnover north of £300 million. The company employs over 2000 staff across the country and produces a portfolio of goods that are well known in the UK construction market. This site is a key facility in the group and produces just under 100 million units each year.
About the role
This is a hands-on engineering role in a real engineering business. It will involve the stripping and rebuilding of mechanical components and exposure to welding and fabrication. Responsibilities include preventive and reactive maintenance on automated plant machinery, fault finding and rectification, and installation/project work. The environment is heavy industrial but highly automated, requiring maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, robotics, packaging lines, palletisers, mixing equipment, kilns, and specialist equipment.

* PPM & Reactive maintenance on automated plant machinery
* Fault finding and fault rectification
* Installation and project work
* Maintenance on conveyors, robotics, packaging lines, palletisers, mixing equipment, kilns, and specialist equipment
About you / Qualifications
* Experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment
* Experience with mechanical maintenance and the ability to strip and rebuild mechanical components
* Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance would be beneficial
* Recognised NVQ engineering qualification (or equivalent)
