Job Description
Business Unit
The Finance department is responsible for all financial reporting for LGT Wealth Management Group entities and also for LGT Bank UK Branch. Financial reporting includes regular and ad hoc internal management information for all seven entities, as well as statutory reporting to Companies House, HMRC and Financial Conduct Authority. The Finance department takes a lead role in enabling the senior management of the firm to deliver on the Group's strategy.
Brief Role Objective:
As Finance Manager you are responsible for the production of timely monthly financial information in the form of Management Accounts and Management Information, including written reporting on analytical review and budget variance analysis. Additionally, you will play a key role in finance team projects supporting our business analyst to create efficiencies within the team and provide senior stakeholders with real time financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing monthly management accounts for the LGT WM Ltd.
• Analysis on the financials - including analytical review and commentary.
• Support Head of Controlling preparing management reporting for Regional offices along with middle office departments with the aim on taking full ownership.
• Intercompany reconciliations within LGT WM Group entities as well as the wider LGT Group.
• Regulatory reporting for all LGT WM Group entities.
• Tax reporting for all LGT WM Group entities (Partnership Tax Return, Corporation Tax Return & VAT).
• Support during year end statutory financial audit.
• Support Head of Controlling on various projects.
Requirements
Key Skills and Competency Requirements:
* Ability to deliver quality in a fast paced environment
* Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
* Strong planning and organisation skills
* Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion
* Ability to work in high pressure environment and manage multiple projects
Experience:
* Professionally qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
* 3-5 years post qualified experience
* Strong Excel skills
* Prior Financial Services experience essential.
* Solid understanding of financial reporting requirements
* Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner.
* Experience in preparing management account and key performance data
* Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills
