About the Company
A well-established aerospace manufacturing company based in Nuneaton is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment producing high-quality aerospace components to tight tolerances.
The Role
As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Responsibilities include:
* Setting and operating CNC milling machines
* Working from engineering drawings and specifications
* Producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
* Carrying out basic editing and offsets where required
* Using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges
* Conducting first-off and in-process inspection checks
* Maintaining high quality and housekeeping standards
* Working efficiently to production targets and deadlines
About You
* Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter Operator
* Experience xsngvjr within aerospace or precision engineering environments preferred
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using measuring equipment
* Knowledge of Fanuc or similar controls advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
* Reliable with a good attitude towards teamwork and production
