Job title: Service Coordinator
Location: Poole Sopers Lane BH17 7ER, from October 2025 onwards: 1 Viscount Road, Christchurch, BH23 6BU
Work Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours/week, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator on behalf of a global leader in the market of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
The role is responsible for the correct handling of various faults relating to our Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in line with our customer's contract requirements within service level agreements. You will be expected to develop an expert understanding of our customer's requirements and support our local service teams whilst helping to establish our department within Yunex Traffic with both internal and external customers.
The role involves managing phone calls, faults, appointment booking for engineers, emails, and queries as they come in. It can be very busy, so the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, and to organise and prioritise tasks, is key.
Areas of responsibility and tasks
* Ensuring all faults are reported and dispatched appropriately to support high levels of operational productivity, paying close attention to relevant contract information.
* Developing an understanding of our customer's requirements to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
* Managing emails, responding professionally according to the relevant contract.
* Managing engineers' faults and workload by booking appointments using the booking system.
* Taking calls from customers and engineers.
* Assisting local field management with contract queries and administrative tasks.
Knowledge & Skills
The key competencies and capabilities for this role are:
* Proficiency in PC skills, with experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good attention to detail and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
* Customer-facing experience is desirable.
* Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and see incidents through to completion.
* Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* A self-motivator demonstrating good initiative.
Required experience
Previous administration and coordination experience is desirable.
