Offer description

The successful candidate will support the headteacher and Senior Leadership Team at Birch Hill Primary School with operational and administrative matters. They will work closely with the Primary Operations and Project Manager to ensure the school operates efficiently and integrates seamlessly with our shared services functions. The postholder will also manage marketing and community engagement activities and act as PA to the headteacher.

Birch Hill Primary School is a two-form entry community school serving Birch Hill and Hanworth districts of Bracknell Forest. We offer a nursery and a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for children with ASD and MLD, accommodating 420 children plus 26 nursery spaces. Our school has two Key Stages - EYFS/KS1 and KS2, and our motto is: Learn, Believe, Achieve Together.

We set high standards through a curriculum that encourages children to believe in their potential and work closely with parents and the community. We promote our 4 Golden Rules: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Ready to Learn, and Be Honest, with each class having its own Golden Rules Charter to foster respect and responsibility.

Our school is set in spacious grounds, providing a calm and purposeful environment. Our dedicated staff strive to do their best for all pupils, regardless of needs or backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be:

* Professional and friendly, able to work closely with the site manager and leadership team
* Extremely organised, prioritising conflicting demands
* Able to motivate and manage the admin team, ensuring professional interactions and excellent customer service
* Willing to undertake training for professional development and operational needs
* Capable of liaising with contractors, especially IT and catering
