A outdoor services provider is looking to appoint a SHEQ Advisor to support multi-site operations across the Midlands and South.
This is a heavily field-based role, typically 4 days per week on the road and 1 day working from home completing reports.
The Role
You will be visiting multiple live sites where subcontractors are delivering works, carrying out full Health & Safety and Environmental inspections.
This role is hands on and operational. It requires someone confident in engaging site teams, reinforcing safety culture and ensuring standards are consistently applied across different locations.
Key responsibilities:
* Conducting site inspections across multiple locations
* Ensuring compliance with H&S and environmental standards
* Leading accident and incident investigations
* Producing clear, accurate reports with documented evidence
* Supporting and improving overall safety culture
* Advising operational teams on compliance and best practice
* Supporting ISO and environmental standards where applicable
What were looking for:
* Minimum 6 months’ experience in a SHEQ / H&S role
* Experience working across multiple sites
* Strong report writing and documentation skills
* High level of computer literacy
* Confident investigating accidents and incidents
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Exposure to ISO standards
* Environmental compliance experience
Location and travel:
Covering the Midlands and South, including areas such as:
* Competitive salary £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
