We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team and provide domicillary care and day centre services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emotional and practical support to clients, helping them to access services, and assisting with daily tasks such as shopping, cleaning, cooking, support in the community. Provide personal care, washing, dressing, toileting, assist with medication. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and have a commitment to providing the highest quality of support. Must be compassionate, and reliable/ Must have own car and be available to work every other weekend .
Responsibilities:
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Help clients with activities of daily living such as shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
* Attend to medical appointments with clients.
* Provide assistance in accessing community services and resources.
* Maintain accurate records of client activities and progress.
* Assist in the development of individualised care plans for clients.
