My client is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor for their busy Aftersales department.
Parts Advisor:
* Provide excellent customer service by answering customer queries promptly and accurately, and providing advice and guidance on vehicle parts, accessories, and servicing.
* Identify and source vehicle parts and accessories through electronic catalogs and other sources.
* Maintain inventory levels by ensuring stock is correctly identified, counted, and stored, and by placing orders for replenishment.
* Monitor and manage backorders, ensuring timely delivery of parts and accessories to the workshop.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Answer incoming phone calls, emails and other forms of communication in a timely and professional manner
* Schedule appointments and maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment calendars
* Prepare and process customer paperwork and invoices
* Provide exceptional customer service and assistance with any customer queries or
concerns
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience
About You:
* Prior experience in an automotive parts department or related field
* Excellent customer service skills
* Basic knowledge of vehicle components and parts
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to use an electronic parts system, digital diary, and inventory management software
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Valid driver’s license
