Overview
We have an opportunity for you to join our Haematology Service at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a newly created post that will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care for all myeloid haematological patients.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and organise haematology pathways throughout treatment, symptom management, relapse, emergency admissions and long‑term living with and beyond treatment.
* Act as an autonomous nurse specialist and develop and deliver nurse‑led services within Haematology, including telephone, face‑to‑face activity and inpatient reviews.
* Develop and implement opportunities for advancing nursing practice and ensuring collaborative working relationships across the Trust and local health care services.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Haematology with excellent leadership, management and communication skills.
* Ability to drive this Service forward and make informed decisions within your own area and scope of professional practice to ensure agreed standards and targets are met.
* Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
