Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a well established and highly respected team in Sherborne, Dorset. The Role
You will play a key role within the Private Client team, managing your own caseload and delivering high quality, client centred advice. Your work will include:
* Advising on wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration
* Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion
* Drafting clear, accurate legal documents to support clients\' long term planning
* Communicating with clients in person, by phone and in writing, ensuring clarity and confidence at every stage
* Supporting and supervising junior and support staff
* Contributing to business development and strengthening the team\'s presence in the local community
* Building strong internal relationships across the wider firm
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* 2-4 years\' PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
* Experience working within a private client team
* Strong ability to build rapport and manage client expectations
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a varied caseload
* Commercial awareness and confidence handling matters from a financial perspective
* Willingness to develop skills in networking and business development
* A collaborative mindset and commitment to contributing to a supportive team culture
